World of Color!

So it is FINALLY cold in Southern California. The rain is coming and going and our outerwear is seeing the light of day for the first couple of times this year. If you are anything like me, those pieces are a little worse for the wear. Luckily, SEED just got their first shipment of the spring season. Most of you are probably thinking it is a bit early, but we have brand new Fleece Better Sweaters and Vests, brand new insulation pieces like the Nano Puff and the Down Sweater and the new colors are amazing! We are launching all our brand new pieces this week, which is weeks before any of the new colors are available on the Patagonia webstore! For an EXCLUSIVE chance to purchase the new items, stop by SEED today!

(Clockwise from Top Right)
Men's Patagonia Rostrum '62 ShirtPlacement is everything. Glen Denny's classic photo of Warren Harding rocks the upper back left corner of the Men's Rostrum '62 T-Shirt by Patagonia. The graphic is panel-printed using PVC- and phthalate-free inks and then sewn on. Made of durable standard-weight 5.4-oz 100% organic cotton that's ringspun for extra softness. Taped shoulder seams provide comfort. Available in Currant and Modern Blue.

Patagonia Houdini Jacket: Soft, Breathable and ultralight, the Houdini is a take it anywhere jacket with water-resistant protection for every high output endeavor. Stuffs into a stuff sack in the side pocket. Highly packable and great for travel!

Patagonia Nano Puff Pull Over: This pullover remains sleek and pared down, using the best available synthetic insulation and designed with a deep-venting half-zip to avoid harness-line bulk and minimize weight, while maximizing trapped heat. It's weather-resistant enough to wear as an insulated shell in a wet snowstorm, trim enough to pull on for chilly rock pitches (and still see your footholds), and warm enough for light belay parka duty on quick alpine dashes. The wind-blocking, moisture-shedding 100% recycled polyester shell also glides effortlessly, whether worn as a mid-or-outer-layer.

Better Sweater Jacketlayer up in the softest high-performance polyester fleece we make. The Better Sweater Jacket is warm as wool and technically proficient. The stand-up collar has a zipper garage, and handwarmer pockets keep your fingers cozy. Micro polyester trim at the collar, cuff and hem wicks moisture. This has been SEED's #1 Fleece Jacket for 3 seasons! Come see the new colors we have!

Down Sweater:  This Jacket is a must have for cold weather conditions. It delivers minimal weight, superb compressibility and high-loft warmth. The ripstop shell with a Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) finish does more than look sharp: it's tear-resistant and windproof and made from 100% recycled polyester. Details include top-quality 800-fill-power goose down, an updated fit and styling, quilted-through construction, two exterior zippered pockets and a stretch-mesh interior chest pocket that doubles as a zippered stuff sack with carabiner clip-in loop.

Patagonia Half MassSized for riding a bike and finely tuned to hold a day's worth of gear, the Half Mass is padded on the backside and along the contoured base to protect contents and provide structure. Inside, a removable padded computer sleeve cradles a 17-inch laptop off the ground, and can be paired with the bag's removable waist strap to create an independent laptop sling. The cover flap overlaps the sides of the bag to keep out rain; its pocket closes with a water-resistant zipper. External side pocket stows a cell phone, keys and power brick. With a topside carrying handle, adjustable shoulder strap, stowable waist strap and a reflective strip for better visibility in low light.

Snow Play

The holidays may be over but it's still prime traveling time and no better place to travel than to the snow! It's finally a bit cooler in Southern California and we're bundling up in rain gear, but the rest of the world is under many feet of snow and warm and functional clothing is a necessity! If you're heading that way, we suggest making a pit stop into Seed! Here's a little sneak peak of a few of our snow essentials.

[clockwise]

Men's Patagonia Down Sweater: November on the Stanley Headwall and December in the desert - either way, when the sun leaves the walls it's down time. Ultralight and windproof, the Down Sweater is warm, highly-compressible down insulation jacket that can be worn as a midlayer or outerwear in cold climates. Considering the sudden change in weather, this is your perfect go-to winter jacket!

Pajar Grip Boot: Pajar's Grip boot provides superior protection and keeps you sharp-looking. This amazing boot withholds temperatures up to -13 degrees and is completely weatherproof! A toggled closure at the collar and genuine shearling lining make for a comfortably warm and snug fit, while the rubber outsole provides flexibility and protective traction.

Sorel Cate the Great Boots: Iinspired by a pair of Cree winter moccasins, these style-savvy boots are ready to conquer the coldest days, the deepest snow, and the slickest streets.

Lole Alex Ski Pant:  If comfort and fit don't persuade you, protection from the wet with DuPont Teflon® and the warmth of Thermolite® Active insulation should!

Women's Patagonia Nano Puff Pullover: Windproof and water-resistant, the Nano Puff® Pullover is warm, incredibly lightweight, highly compressible and can be worn as insulation or outerwear in cold climates.

Patagonia Synchilla Gloves: Don't forget about those hands! A unisex fit in a classic fleece glove for cool to cold conditions.

So Many Jackets, So Little Time.

It's November already and we've got new fall jackets! We know, we know... it's hard to imagine needing a jacket in this scorching California weather right? But we also know that November is a month of traveling, and though it's extremely hot in California, these great jackets will prepare you for the cold that's happening in other parts of the world. Then when you come back, it will finally be colder in our dear old sunny California. Below are just a small selection of what's waiting for you in store or online! Click item to buy online!
When the sun leaves the walls it's down time. Full-zip and hooded, this jacket is protected by a superlight but tough, windproof and water-resistant shell (100% recycled polyester ripstop) with a Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) finish.

For crisp, sunny fall days, a vest keeps cores warm and arms free. With a windproof, 100% polyester variegated ripstop shell and 600-fill premium goose down, the Slingshot Down Vest acts like a campfire for your core when the temperature drops.

The Mithril Jacket is the ultimate winter protection in cold, wet conditions. Waterproof Ventia soft shell fabric and exterior seam tape are uncompromising at shedding wet snow and preventing soak through for superior dryness. With a soft fleece interior the Mithril Jacket keeps you cozy comfortable and warm on sunless, windy days.

Incredibly light and compressible, the Solo is destined to be taken on every outing. Extremely hydrophobic and breathable, this jacket is a superb summit jacket, a super-warm mid-layer, or a perfect camp piece.
