New in [Sseko Sandals]
Not only are these just about the coolest sandals we've ever seen, they're also an awesome not-just-for-profit organization. Sseko helps bright young women in Uganda continue their education and pursue college educations. These women will not make sandals forever. They will go on to be doctors, lawyers, politicians, writers and teachers that will bring change and unification to a divided and ravished country. You get a totally customizable sandal. And a group of beautiful, bright young women in Uganda get an education, a voice, and a future. Everybody wins. Every sandal has a story. This story has only just begun, but with your help, it will be a story of hope, success, and change.

Quiksilver
[clockwise from top right]
Quiksilver has invaded Seed! From their slouchy cargos, to their comfy sweaters, we're loving Quiksilver's spring line and highly suggest you come in and take a look for yourself.
Love Potion Vest: No look will be complete without this vest. Toss it over a tank, some skinnies and throw on some sandals. It is a sleeveless rectangular shawl vest that has a rib trim and tun-back lapels.
Check One-Two Top: It's all about the gingham this spring! Wear this one-size-fits all top as a light weight layer, pairing it with a printed tank and denim shorts. Styled with Scotch Naturals non-toxic nail polish
Make Out Dress: The perfect layering dress for spring. Pair it with a denim shirt unbuttoned and lace up boots for a day at the flea market. It is slightly sheer. Styled with 31 Bits Round Town necklace.
Sandblaster Pant: Nothing says spring like a great lightweight cargo pant. Create a stylish look with a floral tank and hoodie. These pants are a cropped length with a drawstring elastic waistband and they have pockets at front and back. Styled with Dr. Martens boots.
Black Hearts Top: Your essential chambray shirt for spring. It is the go-to piece in your closet, worn layered over a tank and skirt or on its own with a pair of printed leggings and boots.

World of Color!
So it is FINALLY cold in Southern California. The rain is coming and going and our outerwear is seeing the light of day for the first couple of times this year. If you are anything like me, those pieces are a little worse for the wear. Luckily, SEED just got their first shipment of the spring season. Most of you are probably thinking it is a bit early, but we have brand new Fleece Better Sweaters and Vests, brand new insulation pieces like the Nano Puff and the Down Sweater and the new colors are amazing! We are launching all our brand new pieces this week, which is weeks before any of the new colors are available on the Patagonia webstore! For an EXCLUSIVE chance to purchase the new items, stop by SEED today!
(Clockwise from Top Right)
Men's Patagonia Rostrum '62 Shirt: Placement is everything. Glen Denny's classic photo of Warren Harding rocks the upper back left corner of the Men's Rostrum '62 T-Shirt by Patagonia. The graphic is panel-printed using PVC- and phthalate-free inks and then sewn on. Made of durable standard-weight 5.4-oz 100% organic cotton that's ringspun for extra softness. Taped shoulder seams provide comfort. Available in Currant and Modern Blue.
Patagonia Houdini Jacket: Soft, Breathable and ultralight, the Houdini is a take it anywhere jacket with water-resistant protection for every high output endeavor. Stuffs into a stuff sack in the side pocket. Highly packable and great for travel!
Patagonia Nano Puff Pull Over: This pullover remains sleek and pared down, using the best available synthetic insulation and designed with a deep-venting half-zip to avoid harness-line bulk and minimize weight, while maximizing trapped heat. It's weather-resistant enough to wear as an insulated shell in a wet snowstorm, trim enough to pull on for chilly rock pitches (and still see your footholds), and warm enough for light belay parka duty on quick alpine dashes. The wind-blocking, moisture-shedding 100% recycled polyester shell also glides effortlessly, whether worn as a mid-or-outer-layer.
Better Sweater Jacket: layer up in the softest high-performance polyester fleece we make. The Better Sweater Jacket is warm as wool and technically proficient. The stand-up collar has a zipper garage, and handwarmer pockets keep your fingers cozy. Micro polyester trim at the collar, cuff and hem wicks moisture. This has been SEED's #1 Fleece Jacket for 3 seasons! Come see the new colors we have!
Down Sweater: This Jacket is a must have for cold weather conditions. It delivers minimal weight, superb compressibility and high-loft warmth. The ripstop shell with a Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) finish does more than look sharp: it's tear-resistant and windproof and made from 100% recycled polyester. Details include top-quality 800-fill-power goose down, an updated fit and styling, quilted-through construction, two exterior zippered pockets and a stretch-mesh interior chest pocket that doubles as a zippered stuff sack with carabiner clip-in loop.

Patagonia Half Mass: Sized for riding a bike and finely tuned to hold a day's worth of gear, the Half Mass is padded on the backside and along the contoured base to protect contents and provide structure. Inside, a removable padded computer sleeve cradles a 17-inch laptop off the ground, and can be paired with the bag's removable waist strap to create an independent laptop sling. The cover flap overlaps the sides of the bag to keep out rain; its pocket closes with a water-resistant zipper. External side pocket stows a cell phone, keys and power brick. With a topside carrying handle, adjustable shoulder strap, stowable waist strap and a reflective strip for better visibility in low light.

Seed Staff Picks
Gift giving can be quite stressful at this time of year, especially with the crowds of people and traffic on the roads. Though we can't promise to alleviate the swarming people, we've created staff picks in hopes of making your holiday shopping adventures a bit more manageable!
EMILY
Emily is in her twenties, but she's a ten-year-old at heart. She loves almost everything, especially her bicycle, old movies and anything even remotely whimsical. When she's not working or riding around Orange County, she's playing her guitar and day-dreaming about future world travels.
Know someone who fits that description? Let us help you pick a gift!
Emily's Picks:
Horny Toad Flanery Shirt- Fall = football. Football = tail gates . No better way to enjoy the game, friends, and the grill than in a warm and classic flannel! The Flanery goes deep with soft flannel, true fall colors, organic cotton and classic good looks. Score.
Lole Coastline Tunic- The perfect go-to tunic made of linen hemp and organic cotton. Men, this makes a great gift for the ladies!
Clark's Desert Treks- The retro 'Desert Boot' has been a Clarks® classic for nearly 30 years. Why do we love it? Rich, supple leather upper with signature center-seam design, nature-formed last allows for natural toe spread to promote good foot health, suede-lined counter maintains heel stability to prevent slipping and ensure a proper fit, leather-covered EVA footbed wicks away moisture and conforms to the foot for a customized fit... yep. That pretty much covers it.
This is New York by M. Sasek- The This is series wouldn't have been complete without New York. The book is the first of 3 on American cities and engages every age range, providing comfort to those like Emily who have memories of their hometowns.
